Originally from California, Lancaster built a distinguished career as an award-winning journalist before transitioning into leadership roles in public relations and strategic communications. Her work has been recognized with multiple honors, including Emmy Awards, for her ability to tell compelling, human-centered stories.

She now serves as Director of Communications & Marketing for the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Southwest Florida, where she continues to amplify stories that matter and connect with the community she serves.

Lancaster lives in Cape Coral, Florida, with her husband. When she is not working or writing, she enjoys all that Southwest Florida has to offer — including its beaches, sunshine, vibrant dining scene, and coastal lifestyle.
